AT ISRAEL OF THE NATIONS

Hebrew - Christian Fellowship

We hold Shabbat services on Saturday

at at 12:00 PM on the Hebrew Sabbath.

Please make note of our “Sabbath disclaimer” below.

Our Service begins with praise and worship music, a mix of

contemporary music, much of which has a Hebrew flavor to it.

Next comes greetings and announcements followed by

the Shema (Hear O Israel) and the Lord’s prayer,

both prayers are spoken in Hebrew and English,

we use these prayers because we feel it helps to unify

our fellowship together.

THE SHEMA and LORD’S PRAYER

The Torah scroll (the first 5 books of the Bible written by Moses)  is then blessed and read from in Hebrew, with it’s English  translation,  all are then invited to participate and either comment or ask questions about the Scripture, as they did in Yeshua’s (Jesus’) day.

         Preaching the Word

The message is then delivered, which is always a fresh Word from God from either the Hebrew Scriptures or the New Testament, and is

usually on most occasions from both.

We then have Kiddush (blessing of the bread and wine) followed

by the Aaronic benediction (blessing) and prayer for anyone

who wants it.

SORRY,  “Aaron” isn’t around every Friday to do the  Aaronic benediction  and Kiddush – these

pictures were taken during our special teaching done on the Garments of the High Priest.

All of this is subject to change at the direction of the

RUACH HA KODESH – THE HOLY SPIRIT!

Following services there is Oneg Shabbat (the delight of the Sabbath)

where there is food and an opportunity to fellowship.

If you are interested in attending services, please go to our

Now the DISCLAIMER about the SABBATH

Although we choose to worship on Friday evenings as the Hebrews do,

we have no contentions with those who choose to worship on a

Sunday Sabbath, as some others do. The Lord indeed sanctified the First Day, and made it a “special Sabbath” when He rose from the dead, just as He sanctified many other days as “special Sabbaths” which do not necessarily fall on the Seventh Day, such as Passover and Yom Kippur.
