UPDATE 10/15/08

THE MINISTRIES OF ISRAEL OF THE NATIONS HAVE COME TO AN END
(At least for the time being)

Our ministry was struck a terrible blow in early September when one of our strongest supporters left our ministry. We have never been a large ministry and our finances have always been very tight and naturally with the loss of the support of this individual it makes it very difficult for us to continue leasing commercial space to hold our weekly services.

In addition, as the congregational leader, I also work a very demanding full time job, and with the loss of this critical support of this individual I can no longer rely on someone to open the doors and conduct services if I cannot make it to a service one or two weeks at a time.

For this reason we have DISCONTINUED REGULAR SERVICES AS OF THE LAST SATURDAY IN SEPTEMBER.

Currently I am in prayer over the situation, and am seeking direction for the ministry - we hope to return to regular services perhaps at the beginning of the calendar year, even if they are less frequent and not held weekly as they once were. Much will depend on if we can find a new location over the next few weeks, as well as the level of support and commitment that we can count on from those who have remained.

Check back to this website frequently, as I will update it with any news of our current direction in ministry. For those who would like to learn more of the detail as to what happened to our once strong ministry, or to those who would like to support or efforts as we seek to grow again and establish our presence in the community bringing the gospel to the Jew first, feel free to e-mail me at the address given below.

Your servant in Messiah,
Derrick Drew
